Vittoria will be the official and exclusive tire supplier of Jumbo-Visma team until 2023
In 1991, one of the most enduring and successful collaborations in professional cycling was born. We are thrilled to announce that Vittoria and Jumbo-Visma are renewing their partnership for the 30th year in a row, as Vittoria will be the official and exclusive tire supplier of the Dutch team until 2023. For 30 years, one season after the other, Jumbo-Visma riders and mechanics have been relying on Vittoria as their tire choice for competing in the most glorious and demanding road cycling races. This is a true demonstration of trust which says a lot about the reliability of Vittoria tires.
Many things have changed in the last 30 years. The team had different sponsors such as Rabobank (1996–2012) and LottoNL–Jumbo (2015–2018) as well as different bicycle suppliers such as Colnago (1984–2008), Giant (2009–2013) and Bianchi (2014–) but none of these changes ever impacted on the long-lasting relationship with Vittoria. On the contrary, Vittoria has always worked to provide the team with its high-quality and high-performance products, no matter the bicycle.
The collaboration with Jumbo-Visma allowed Vittoria to develop and test new technologies that are also implemented in tires for the mass market. One above all, the graphene compound launched in 2015 on the Vittoria Corsa. In fact, the Corsa brought to the success many Jumbo-Visma riders in the last few years, such as Dylan Groenewegen sprinting to victory on the Champs-Élysées in 2017, Primoz Roglic winning La Vuelta in 2019 and Wout Van Aert winning Strade Bianche and Milano Sanremo just a few weeks ago.
